Pasquale "Pat" Carletto Jr., 79, of Connellsville, died Friday, July 11, 2008, in UPMC Presbyterian, Oakland. He was born March 28, 1929, in Connellsville, a son of the late Pasquale and Anna Panzella Carletto. He was a member of St. Rita Roman Catholic Church. Pat retired from Modulas Corp., where he was a machine operator for several years. He also worked for Quality Dairy. Pat was then owner and operator of Carletto's Car Detailing business for many years. He was an avid Steelers and Penn State football fan. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Throughout the years, he had a special bond with his pet dogs, Sheba, Samantha and Casey. Patsy is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Regina Skonezny Carletto; two sons, Pat R. Carletto and wife, Janet, of Mt. Airy, Md., and Joseph A. Carletto and wife, Carol, of Phoenix, Ariz.; two daughters, Monica Ann Carletto, of Gig Harbor, Wash., and Lisa Marie John and husband, Donald, of Connellsville; grandchildren, Michelle Sanchez, Jeremy and Michael Carletto; great-grandchildren, Jackie and Giselle Carletto; and two sisters, Sylvia Guido and husband, Richard, of Carmel, N.Y., and Connie Rimmel and husband, Harry "Pinky," of Valleyview, Ohio. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Philomena and Marie. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. Monday in the VITO C. MARTUCCI FUNERAL HOME, 123 S. First St., West Side, Connellsville. A blessing service will be held at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Rita Roman Catholic Church with Father Ron Cyktor as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Rita Cemetery.
