West Mifflin, Formerly of Glassport and Duquesne

Marilyn A. "Tag" (Tagliavini) Campano, 77, of West Mifflin, formerly of Glassport and Duquesne, died Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008. Marilyn was a graduate of the McKeesport Hospital School of Nursing and a registered nurse in the hospital's labor room for 42 years. She was very strong-willed, supportive and generous and had a good sense of humor. Wife of Anthony M. Campano. Loving mother of Tina (Gary) Farine and Tony (Stephanie) Campano. Daughter of the late Albino and Helen (Gizovski) Tagliavini. Stepdaughter of James Ardiana. Loving "Nan" of Kristina (Eric) Chichester and Mia and Anthony Campano. Also survived by nieces, nephews, special nursing friends and childhood friend Norma Vujatovich. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME INC., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, where a blessing service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday. Interment in Jefferson Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
