Adamsburg, Formerly of Carnegie

Mary Louise (Rosso) Karaica, 86, of Adamsburg, formerly of Carnegie, died Sunday, April 25, 2010, at home. She was born March 29, 1924, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Anthony and Madeline (Patrucci) Rosso and was also preceded in death by her siblings, Jean Jucha, Rose Niespoitzianski and Mike Rosso. She was an Army veteran of World War II and a former active member of SS. Simon and Jude Church, Carnegie. Surviving are her husband of more than 63 years, Stanley Karaica; children, Stanley B. Karaica and his wife, Mary Ann, of Adamsburg, and Beverly Ann Neely and her husband, William, of North Carolina; grandchildren, Lori Haber, Stephanie (Greg) Capasso and Stanley J. Karaica; great-grandchildren, Samuel and Nathan Capasso; also nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the WILLIAM SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, 521 Main St., Irwin, 724-863-1200, where a blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday with Father John Moineau officiating. Entombment with military honors will follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park. Those wishing may contribute to the Salvation Army.
