Jack Charles Zellhart, 65, of West Deer Township, died Friday, Jan. 14, 2011, in UPMC St. Margaret Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born Nov. 26, 1945, in Blawnox, son of the late Arthur and Alice (Cooper) Zellhart. Mr. Zellhart repaired commercial doors at schools. He was a Navy veteran and belonged to the American Legion Post No. 593 of West Deer Township. He and Pat enjoyed traveling, going to flea markets, casinos and playing cards with their family and friends. He enjoyed spending time with his three special grandchildren and walking his dog, Mocha. He is survived by his companion of 22 years, Patricia Staninecz, of West Deer; daughters, Jessica (Douglas) Huber, of Butler, and Jennine (Andre) Karkaria, of Allison Park; his grandchildren, Douglas Huber Jr., Joshua Karkaria and Dina Karkaria; sisters, Mary (Robert) McGough, of Apollo, Darlene (Harry) Paisley, of West Sunbury; brother, Charles (Debbie) Zellhart, of West Deer Township; sister-in-law, Mary Zellhart, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and faithful pet, Mocha. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Arthur Jr. and Marilyn Zellhart; and his brother, Robert Zellhart.
