Jean M. (Magee) Leech, 88, of Vandergrift, formerly of Hyde Park, died Monday, Nov. 28, 2011, in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. She was born Sept. 7 1923, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Christopher Magee and Alberta (Stumpf) Magee. She was employed as a registered nurse for Dr. HW Fraley in Leechburg for 22 years, retiring in 1996. She was a second lieutenant in the Army Nurse Corp during World War II. A member of Cross Roads Community Presbyterian Church in Leechburg, she was a 1941 graduate of Oakmont High School and a 1944 graduate of St. Margaret's Hospital School of Nursing. Mrs. Leech enjoyed playing cards, reading, sewing and shopping. Survivors include two sons, Alan J. Leech, of Hyde Park, and Arthur J. Leech (Judy Hennessy), of Newport, Ky.; two daughters, Martha (Ronald) Wolfgang, of Vandergrift, and Beverly (Robert) Zewe, of Johnstown; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Friends will be welcomed by her family from 2 to 7 p.m. Thursday at CLAWSONS, 170 Main St., Leechburg, 724-842-1051, and from 10:30 until the time of funeral ceremonies at 11 a.m. Friday at Cross Roads Community Presbyterian Church, 271 Main St., Leechburg, with her pastor, the Rev.
