Nick V. "DeGaulle" DiAngelo, 79, of Clairton, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, in Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Born Oct. 10, 1933, in Clairton, he was a son of the late Angelo and Giovianna (Garritano) DiAngelo. A retired presser for Martell Cleaners in Clairton and veteran of the Army, Nick was a parishioner of St. Clare of Assisi Parish and the former St. Paulinus Church in Wilson and a member of Wilson Civic Association. He loved his Westerns, loved to bake and cook, loved to help anyone who needed it, but loved his family most of all. They will miss him. Nick is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mary (McAraw) DiAngelo; his son, Vincent DiAngelo, of Clairton; nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Philomena "Titi" LaParo, Lena Martell, Angie Ferraro and Carl DiAngelo. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, in the A.J. BEKAVAC FUNERAL HOME, 555 Fifth St., Clairton, PA 15025 (412-233-5700).
