Christian McKenzie Hills, 27, of Randolph, N.J., formerly of Butler, died Monday afternoon, Jan. 28, 2012, as a result of a car accident. Born May 15, 1985, in Grove City, she was the daughter of Peter C. Hills and Cynthia A. (Olen) Hills. Christian was a cherished daughter, sister and friend. She was also a beloved member of the Western PA gymnastics community as a judge, coach and mentor to hundreds of little girls. Christian graduated Butler High School in 2003, where she was a Sequinette and was currently coaching elite level gymnasts at Northstars Gymnastics Club in Boonton, N.J. Christian was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Lyndora. In addition to her parents, she is survived by, her brother, Joel Hills and his wife, Desire, of West Sunbury; her grandmother, Caroline Hills, of Charleston, S.C.; and two nieces, Reilly and Adeline. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler. Private funeral services will be held for her family Saturday. Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Butler. Parastas services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
