Larry Paul Gray, 70, of Sagamore, died Monday, July 8, 2013, at his daughter's home. He was born March 10, 1943, in Kittanning, a son of the late T.W. Gray and Nettie (Cornman) Gray, and lived in the community for 12 years. He was an Air Force Vietnam veteran, serving from September 1961 to October 1987, retiring as a master sergeant. He retired from PCC, where he worked from March 15, 1996, to June 30, 2011. He was a member of Free Methodist Church in Kittanning, the American Legion in Indiana Post No. 141 and also American Legion Post 523 in Yatesboro. He was honorably discharged from the Air Force, a member of VFW and as a master sergeant he was a non-commissioned officer in charge of the Plans and Program Division within the Pentagon. He enjoyed hiking, camping, woodworking, fishing, canoeing and country dancing. Survivors include his daughters, Kimberly Strizak (Brian), Teresa Carroll (Adam) and Paula Grey (Kenneth); son, Larry Paul Gray Jr. (Amy); grandchildren, Brittany, Kenneth, Joshua, Katie, Jordan, Riley, Logan, Jeffrey, Caleb, Benjamin, Ashlyn, Sidney and Caden; great-grandchildren, Baileigh and Grayson; mother of his children, Sue Gray; brothers, John Gray (Patty) and Bill Gray (Sandra); sister, Jayne Elgin (Rod); companion, Judy Delvecchio and her children, Candice (Darrin) Pilarski and Tina (Frank) Siszka; also Judy's grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Sophie and Sarah. In addition to his parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Connie Gray and Beverly Thompson. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME in Kittanning. Additional visitation from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Free Methodist Church in Kittanning with the Rev. Wayne Sawyer, church pastor, officiating.
