Margaret ''Peg'' (Garner) Long, 91, a resident of St. Anne Home, formerly of Southwest Greensburg, died Friday, July 19, 2013, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. She was born July 22, 1921, in South Greensburg, a daughter of the late Raymond and Lena (Lentini) Garner. Prior to her retirement, she had been the owner and operator of Peg's Beauty Shop for 40 years. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Greensburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. Long, on Dec. 10, 1996; three brothers, James T., Raymond and Joseph P. Garner; and two sisters, Gloria Piccolo and Lucy Thomas. She is survived by a son, Joseph R. Long and his wife, Annie K., of Greensburg; a daughter, Cynthia A. Kemerer and her husband, Gary, of Greensburg; two grandchildren, Christy L. and her husband, Daniel Kremer, of Greensburg, and Carrie Ann and her husband, Michael Legler, of Ohio; three great-grandchildren, Jacob F. Kremer, Abby Lane Legler and Michael B. Legler; a brother, Philip Garner and his wife, Carmella, of South Greensburg; a sister, C. Linda Dobies and her husband, Stanley of South Greensburg; a sister-in-law, Marie Garner, of South Greensburg; a brother-in-law, Vincent Piccolo, of Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday in the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton at Green streets, Greensburg. Prayers at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Greensburg. Interment will follow in the Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.
