John 'Mike' Mullin, 72, of Jeannette, died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013, at home. He was born Sept. 29, 1940, in Greensburg, to John Mullin and Antoniette Thomas Mullin. Mike was a member of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral and the Silver Sneakers at the Greensburg Aerobic Center. He worked as a journeyman mold maker at Overmyer Mold and Owens Brockway and was a proud member of the American Flint Glassworkers Union, Local No. 71. Mike enjoyed spending time with his family, playing with his grandchildren and monthly breakfast with his retired buddies from Overmyer Mold. He also loved antiques and antique cars. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mike was a compassionate and loving husband and caregiver to his wife of 45 years, Barbara C. Bolkovac Mullin. He is also survived by his four children, Heidi Mullin, of Astoria, N.Y., Brett Mullin, of Charolette, N.C., Peter Mullin and wife, BillieJo, of Greensburg, and Heather Mullin, of Jeannette; two grandchildren, Regan and Nicholas Mullin; two brothers, Pete Mullin and wife, Tess, of Grand Junction, Colo., and Joseph Mullin and wife, Michelle, of Greensburg; two sisters, Sally Dennis and husband, Greg, of Akron, Ohio, and Mary Cox and husband, Dr. William, of Alton, Ill.; two sisters-in-law, Marylou Bolkovac, of Hannastown, and Anne Margaret Bolkovac and her dog, Joe, of Fairfax, Va.; two godchildren, Jonathan and Emily Mullin; special friends, Nancy Michael and Corrine Lukart; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Mike's life from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC. 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, 724-837-0020. Prayers will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home followed by a funeral Mass at 1:30 p.m. in Blessed Sacrament Cathedral.
