Richard Eugene Ziemianski, 84, of White Oak, died Monday, Sept. 30, 2013, at his residence. Born Aug. 17, 1929, in Swissvale, he was a son of the late Stephen and Cecelia Bednarczyk Ziemianski. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Walter (Shirley) Ziemianski. A graduate of St. John Kanty Prep School, he was retired from Duquesne Light after 44 years of service, as a trouble shooter, and was the former owner of the Ziemianski Inn of Glassport. A member of St. Angela Merici Parish, in White Oak, and Queen of Rosary, in Glassport (formerly Holy Cross), he was president of the Holy Name Society; president of the Lions Club and a Third Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, McKeesport Council 955. Surviving are his wife, Patricia Joy Raymer Ziemianski; children, Rich, of Chicago, Ill., Vaughn (Sandy), of North Huntingdon, and Jacqueline, of Monroeville; and a granddaughter, Carly. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the JAYCOX-JAWORSKI FUNERAL HOME INC., 2703 O'Neil Blvd., McKeesport, PA 15132.
