Lux , Wanda A. 94

Ford City

Wanda A. Lux, 94, of Ford City, died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. She was born Oct. 15, 1918, in Ford City, daughter of Matthew and Anna Warner Jasensky. She was a lifelong resident of the area. She was the wife of Joseph H. Lux, who died in 1992. She was a former member of the St. Mary's and Christ Prince of Peace Church. Survivors include her son, William J. Dianne Lux, of Atlanta, Ga.; daughter, Carol and Anthony Coleman, of Las Vegas, Nev.; grandchildren, David and Jennifer Lux, Amy and Tony Amorose and Kevin and Jane Lux; great-grandchildren, Alex Amorose and Jackson and Spencer Lux; sisters, Mary Ann and Steve Kasan, of Ford City, Josephine Fennell, of Leechburg, and Carolyn Butters, of Terrehaute, Ind.; and is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Steve Jasensky and Walter Jasensky; and sister, Pauline Jasensky. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at MANTINI FUNERAL HOME INC., Ford City. A prayer service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Monday, in the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m., in Christ Prince of Peace Parish. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
