Harold L. "Hank" Coleman, 76, of Delmont, died Monday, Jan. 12, 2004, in Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. He was born July 2, 1927, in Bloomfield, a son of the late Albert and Lillian (Kennedy) Coleman. Harold was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in World War II. He was a Pittsburgh firefighter for 25 years, retiring in 1978, and he retired in 1992 from Antech Labs. IN addition, he was an 11-year volunteer at Animal Friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Eileen; and three brothers, Albert, William and Thomas. Harold is survived by his loving wife, Barbara L. (Prugar) Coleman; two sons, Daniel Coleman and wife, Marylou, of Glenshaw, and Michael Coleman, of Pittsburgh; three grandchildren, Hollie, Erin and Ryan; four stepsons, David and wife, Kathy, Mark and wife, Dale, Eric and wife, Robin and Todd Prugar; six stepgrandsons, Jason, Joshua, Bradley, Zachary, Bryan and Steven Prugar; and a stepgreat-grandson, Dylon Prugar. Family and friends will be received at the VAIA FUNERAL HOME INC., 463 Athena Drive, Delmont, 724-468-1177, Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Harold's funeral service will be held in the funeral home Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. J.R. Wagner officiating. Entombment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
