Lena May (Schall) Trunzo, 79, formerly of Oklahoma Borough died at 11:50 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, 2004 at Kittanning Care Center, Kittanning Township.
She was born Feb. 1, 1925 in Mateer, Burrell Township to L. Ronald and Ruth H. (Klingensmith) Schall.
Mrs. Trunzo was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. James Roman Catholic Church, Apollo.
A member of the Disabled American Veteranís Auxiliary, Vandergrift, she lived in the Apollo area all of her life prior to moving to Kittanning Care Center in June.
Survivors include one son, Frank R. Trunzo of Oklahoma Borough; one daughter, Kathy Cappo and husband Vincent of West Kittanning; and one sister, Larue Ciuca and husband Fred of Parks Township.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dominick J. Trunzo who died in 2001; two brothers, Fred E. Schall and an infant brother; and one sister, Verna Perry.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. Wednesday until funeral services at 10 a.m. at the Gerald J. Medice Funeral Home, 1916 Moore Ave., North Apollo with her pastor, the Rev. John T. Sweeney, officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Kiski Township.
