Always enjoyed Randy's music, guitar playing and really feel fortunate to have got to see the Scruggs Family with Earl live at The MACC Fest Hoover Y Park around 2003. His version of Both Sides Now is simply beautiful. Thanks for all of the wonderful music through the years and God Bless!

Wow just now im hearing of randys passing. My name is sue rowe, i worked at costco in Brentwood doing samples for 8 years. I never new he was so famous, he and his wife would come in and we always said hello how are you, we would be so casual, yet seemed like old friends. Wow, randy and is wife where so kind, so gental in there manner. So polite, and randy so shy, was refreshingly different. Randy, I've always admired your style of picking, and you always presented yourself with class and dignity while remaining humble in spite of your success and carrying the Scruggs name. A lot of folks may not realize your enormous contribution to music and the awards that you've deservingly won. My heart breaks at this sorrowful time just as it did when your father passed away.
