i met him in 1982 in phoenix at a christian book store and saw him in concert a few times.A funny story in 1983 i met Paul Crouch at a Dwight Thompson revival and because I was a fan of Carman I asked him when he would have Carmon on Prais the Lord and he said Who is he? About a year later he was all over TBN I am sad my children can never see him live

Not only an Artist, But i believe to this day. Carman was Also Chosen as a Prophet of God to speak the message of love, teaching Warfare through music. He performed a Free Concert at the Houston Astrodome, Lead more a 1000 souls to the kingdom of God. We are only passing through. I am sure he stored up many treasure in heaven for every soul that God saved at his concerts. I am sure that Angelic forces were present with him during his time doing the will of the father. His mission is now been completed, His life has just now begun. Eternal life with our Lord Jesus Christ. Its those who don't know the lord, i don't think we can imagine where they would go without the lord. Carman clearly painted the picture, through witches invitation, no monsters, the champion. Taught the word through music. A man of exhilarating proportions

The loss of this great talent will be felt for years to come. I was fortunate to attend three of his concerts in Michigan over the years, they were phenomenal! No words can express the impact of Carman's ministry and love of Christ upon the world. It is comforting to know that Jesus knows his impact, and great is Carman's reward! Well deserved, Sir.

The Christian Arena is saddened by the loss of a giant in the faith. We appreciated his life, music ministry, and the anointing of Carman, He will be missed. He was the first Christian artist I ever listened to. I found him about 9 years ago. I listened to him ever since. I will miss him dearly. I still have a hard time believing he is gone. He was someone very special.

I miss the lively and energetic Carman that could and would woo most every skeptic with his performances and his love for sharing the word! Oh, if we only had more like Carman. But what is it Paul said: to die is gain. Not an exact quote. Carman is with God our Lord, Savior, Abba; our Yahwa (spelling), in glory! I am hear broken at hearing about Carmen’s passing. I saw him in Staunton, VA, many years ago when he did a concert. He performed The Champion and it was absolutely incredible!

Me and my mom were a big fan of CARMAN wind I was little and one of my favorite memories wind me and my brother were little we us and our mom and our neighbors from our neighborhood used to take us to CARMAN's concert back in 1993 wind he did that album:(the standard) in chicago, illinois wind I was 5 years old

He was my first Contemporary Christian concert back in 1987. That concert changed my life. I was a forever fan from that moment. The angels have a new choir member. He will be truly missed.

Met this guy when he came to Evansville, Indiana during the R.I.O.T. tour. Truly a down to earth guy and will be missed. The angels are celebrating with him.

I was so shocked when I read of Carmens passing. I’m still shocked! I’m so sad I loved his music! It was a big part of my life. I knew his family. I’m so sad you lost your battle Carmen but your music will never die

I am shocked and saddening by the death of Carman. When I was young, I went to all of his concerts with my brother. Carman use to hold his concerts at Calvary Chapel, Costa Mesa, CA. It was through attending those concerts I realized I wanted to start attending Calvary Chapel and leave the church and denomination I was raised in. My mother told me I couldn’t start attending church at CC until I turned 18. The day after my 18th birthday I began attending Calvary Chapel. I have attended a CC throughout my life. You never know how doing the Lord’s work will influence or change someone’s life. I am happy for all the great memories I have and the positive influence Carman had in my life. Carman lived his life for the Lord and ministered to the youth of this world through his concerts and videos. I can’t believe he’s gone and only 65 years old. Just found out, i was a new christian and watched his video raising the standard live i was a professional singer in Sydney Australia and saw the joy of using my talent and gift for the Lord thanks to this. Man of God, Rest in Peace goodand faithful servant

I loved his music and the album Sunday's on the way but my favorite was This Blood is for you and Lazarus! I just came across a death notice and he died 7 days before my husband Leland so I imagine Leland's telling him how we sang his songs together. I am truly heartbroken over the death of Carman. He was such an inspiration and words don't seem adequate enough.

Carman was the 1st Christian singer I had ever heard. Then my children grew up with Carman. I asked "echo" to play Carman songs, and wanted to know his age. That is when I found he had passed. I am so sad, but, it was not coincidence. It was only a few days after he passed that I wanted to hear him sing again! II am sad he has passed, but totally thrilled he has gone to be with the Good Lord for all eternity! May The God of Everything and Everyone bless your family and bring you out on the other side with smiles on your faces and peace in your hearts.

I have SO MUCH to thank Carman for; but what I admired most about him was his kindness. My husband, John, has always worked hard to meet the needs of our family...and he did a great job. But while our needs were always taken care of, we had little left for "wants" .... like "Christian concerts". Carman trusted God SO MUCH that he would do his concerts FOR FREE so everyone who wanted to attend, could. My boys got to go to three concerts! We could have NEVER been able to afford concert tickets at that time. Thank you Carman for your trust in God, your ministry and your music! I'll thank you in person when I meet you in Heaven. One more thing, my deepest condolences to Carman's lovely wife and new family. I had the honor of meeting you and Carman at an event. I was glad to see Carman had finally found the love he had been waiting for. I am honored to have met you BOTH.

I remember Carmen performing in Reno Nevada sometime in the 90s I think. At Lawler Events center I think. Then on CBN He was such a gift from God. Had so many talents from the Lord. I grew up listening to carmans songs. We did put his songs to skits in youth group and my kids grew up listening to him as well. My son met him last year in branson at our home church. When he passed and all the posts started coming in i read in amazement at how many lives were touched by the ministry and faithfullness of this one man. Many will stand in heaven because of Carmans obedience. We will see you again Sir. Thank you for your faithfullness.

Carman, I still have the VHS tape (Absolute Best Videos) my Sister gave me when I first became a disciple of Christ over 20 years ago. I was a babe, and when I watched those videos, they bridged me into a solid commitment. 'A Witches Invitation' enlightened me to always be on guard and stand on the Word no matter what! When I heard of your passing, I just happened to be looking at your face on the cover of that tape. You taught me how to be a true praise and worshipper. I only wish I'd gotten to meet you in person. Rest in peace, mighty warrior for Christ, you will always be missed here.

In my darkest hours it was your music reminding me that God loves me and pulling me out of darkness. I saw you many times in concert as a young girl and couldn't understand all the words as I'm deaf but the feel of the music on my feet and the holy spirt moving though me it was as if I could hear you! I have followed you as I became an adult and started to read all the words to your songs, They touched me more then anything. We cry because you are not with us but we shout for joy as you walk with God!

I remember listening to Carmen after I accepted Jesus in 1989. His music was anointed and brought chills to my skin. His music told a true story of the God of heaven in whom we worship. Carman was one awesome singer, entertainer, brother in Christ, musician, fellow JESUS follower and such a wonderful, caring person. I met him twice at two of his many concerts. Took a pic the 2nd time and so glad we did. We will miss him tremendously, but I guess JESUS thought HE should call Carman to his final home, to sing before the heavenly hosts and so HIS will be done. Now more than ever we need God in America Again. He said it so well. I had taken my daughter to one of his concerts in the mid 90's in Tulsa but never had the opportunity to meet him. I discovered his music in the late 80's and loved his music ever since. My daughter grew up listening to his music and we both miss him terribly.
