My uncle has been an amazing part of my life. His presence was felt everywhere he went. I’ll never forget the sound of his laugh filling the room at every family gathering. He had this way of making everyone feel seen and heard, whether he was telling a joke or just listening quietly. Uncle Allen always said, 'Family is everything.' That wasn't just a phrase to him; it was how he lived his life. He taught us to show up for each other, and that's a lesson we will carry forward. The unconditional love and wisdom he gave to this family—and the way he always made time to listen—will continue his legacy.
