Charles J. “Muzzy” Ippolito of North Riverside, age 93. Proud U.S. Marine Corps Veteran. Beloved husband of 71 years of Helen, nee Lamendola; loving father of Susanne (Larry) Dolezal, Kathleen (Robert) Andersen and Charles B. (Glenda) Ippolito, Jr.; proud grandfather of Kevin (Catherine) Dolezal, Luke Dolezal, Andrew Dolezal, Spencer, Lorelei and Madeline Andersen, Rachel and Michael Ippolito; great grandfather of Louie and Jack Dolezal; preceded in death by his siblings Joseph (late Theresa) Ippolito and Diana (late Dennis) Pechnick; fond uncle of many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Charles was a generous man who “Always gave more than he received.” He was a believer in Angels and gave them to all he met as he “tried to get into heaven through the back door”. His mantra was “let the good times roll” and he enjoyed living life to the fullest. He loved Las Vegas and going to the casino, was a generous tipper and loved to take family and friends out to breakfast. Most of all he loved spending time with his loved ones. Cermak Rd., Westchester on Sunday, January 5, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Monday 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home to Mater Christi Church for a 10:00 a.m. Mass. Interment Mt. Ippolito family: I’m so sorry to hear of your great loss. Muzzy was the nicest man. My mom loved your parents and I still remember summer parties in your backyard when I was a child. I also still have my angel pin that Muzzy gave me. Sending love and my sympathies to the family. Jackie Romolo( Joana DeSanto’s daughter)

All the Radosh "kids" are so sorry to hear the news about Mr. Ippolito. He was our neighbor/friend all the years we lived in North Riverside and then after leaving the area. He was always kind and caring but would not let any of us get away without behaving like proper citizens. Both Charlie and Helen treated us all like we were family. Our love and support goes out to Helen, Sue, Kathy, and Chuck at the loss of this wonderful man.

Uncle Muzzy was a true angel that lived amongst regular people! His wants and needs were simple A good beef sandwich always hit the spot. At any event he was the star attraction! Always the most welcomed guest! He laughed hard and often and cried with everyone to share in their pain. It was my honor to be one of his dearest loved ones. I knew it and felt it my entire life! Thank you God for the special gift of him. I will cherish his memory Always!

Uncle Muzzy was bigger than life. As a kid I remember him as the most energetic grownup in the room. As an adult I loved just listening to him talk. Story after story. He was funny- kind and generous. I treasure his angel pins. He will surly be missed by all who knew him. Heaven is not the same now—he’s shaking things up there!! Love to Auntie Helen and all of their family.
