Mrs. Darlene Millington Bundy, age 84, a resident of Williamston died Monday July 21, 2025, at Carolton Nursing Center in Plymouth.
A private memorial service will be held later.
Mrs. Bundy was born in Jacksonville, Florida on June 24, 1941, daughter of the late Louis Arnold Millington and the late Sarah Winfrey Clark Millington. On September 29, 1963, she married Charles Mack Bundy who preceded her in death on January 21, 1998. She dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker and was a member of Everetts Baptist Church. In her spare time, she dearly loved fishing and did not know what throwing a smaller fish back. If it could bite a hook, it was large enough to go in a pan of grease. Mrs. Bundy dearly loved her family and grandchildren!
Survivors include her children: Troy Bundy and his wife Melinda of Williamston, Lori Hurdle and her husband Kenneth of Williamston, Donald Bundy of Washington, and James Barr of Williamston; eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Mrs. Bundy was predeceased, along with her parents, by a son: Barry Bundy and a grandchild: Kamden Barr.
In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks for memorial contributions be made to Everetts Baptist Church, 201 W. Main Street, Everetts, NC 27825.
