Rest in peace Cousin Debbie. We always called her Cousin as you would address an aunt or grandmother. It was a sign of the respect we had for her. My beautiful Anishinaabe Cousin I love you. I remember you fondly as a young girl with my dear Aunt Ethel, at the bingo hall, powwows, and visiting. I remember holding your daughter, Michelle, as a baby and her hand as a toddler and how much you loved her. I love you. May you be with God and the ancestors.
