Diana Kauffman Obituary

Diana Lynn Bolinger Kauffman, 75, of Colburn, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday-July 12, 2025, at 1:33am, at her residence. She was born on August 8, 1949, in Lafayette, to the late Glennis Bolinger and Eva M. Sheets Bolinger McLaughlin. Her marriage was to 
Van Kauffman I, in Delphi, on October 14, 1967, and he survives. Diana graduated from Delphi High School in 1967. She and her husband owned and operated Van's Pizza in Flora for over 20 years. She then worked at Walmart as a sales associate for 13 years and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Radnor United Methodist Church and belonged to the United Methodist Women's group. She was a Girl Scout Leader, participated in a euchre card club in Flora, enjoyed bowling, was an avid reader, loved to cook and bake, especially cakes and decorating them. She enjoyed traveling, casinos, and playing dominos. Her greatest love was for her family. She dearly loved them all and loved being together for any occasion. Surviving: husband-Van Kauffman I of Colburn, twin daughters-Annette Kauffman sp. Susan of Delphi & Janette Kauffman sp. Dawn of Frankfort, son-Van & Angie Kauffman II of Flora, son-Rob & Liz Kauffman of Flora, 11 grandchildren: Billy, Kayla, Jeremie, Trevor, Van III, Case, Kandice, Alyshia, Madison, Abigal & Noah, 15 great grandchildren survive. Preceded in death by a brother Tom. Services: visitation will be Wednesday from 5pm to 8pm at Abbott Funeral Home, Inc., Delphi. Her funeral service will be there Thursday at 10am, Pastor Nate Eckert officiating. Burial will be at the Lutheran Cemetery in Colburn.
