I had the distinct pleasure working with Skip at Allison Transmission and the distinct honor of being friends outside of Allison. No finer human being have I come across in my time. Dedicated and professional on his job while making work fun with his unique sense of humor. And a true Jack of all trades outside of Allison.....He never met a stranger, was seldom without a joke, witty comment, or some homespun piece of advice, and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. The world will certainly be less colorful without him. Skip will truly be missed. My prayers go out to his family and friends. RIP Skipster.........

Most of my memories of Skip are from our school years together at Avon! I have a particular special memory of going to our Junior Prom together! But there were so many happy memories of ballgames and high school activities as well as social times with mutual friends. Skip always brought positive energy to any party or gathering. Skip had a very distinct laugh and it was contagious! I know he will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. May God´s comfort, that passes understanding, be with all of his family, as well as friends, at this time of need. Comfort one another as God instructs us to in His word: 1st Thessalonians 4:13-18.
I will be donating to the Wheeler Mission as suggested by the family. My regrets that I could not attend any of Skips memorial events. I live in Florida presently.
Love and Prayers, Jowayna Roseboom Miller

Skip was the first person I met moving to the villas. He was always so helpful to me and the neighbors. Loved to hear his stories, eat his fish, share a laugh, and play euchre with the American Legend. He loved his grand babies and family very much. I will miss you my friend and neighbor RIP the hood won´t be the same without you.
