Eletha "Jane" Scagline, 86, of New Eagle, died Tuesday, May 20, 2025 in her home. She was born August 21, 1938 in Elizabeth, the daughter of John "Jack" W. and Sophie Olish Stone.
Jane was a 1956 graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School and a member of the River Hill Church of Christ. She was employed at Bartolotta's for 40 years, starting in Monongahela and retiring from Fisher Heights.
Jane enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino, bowling, camping, hunting, and fishing. She loved her roses and spending time with her family, especially family game night.
She is survived by six children, Donald (Carole) Scagline of Elizabeth, Dale (Laura) Scagline of Carroll Township, Jimmy Scagline of Monongahela, Debbie Bostek of New Eagle, Vicki Ellsworth of Victory Hill, Kelly (John) Olexik of New Eagle; Sharon Sypherd of New Eagle, who was like a daughter to her; thirteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Donald Irvin Scagline; and her brother, Jack Stone, Jr.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the River Hill Church of Christ, 2105 River Hill Road, Monongahela with the Rev. Paul Eisaman officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Frye Funeral Home Inc., Monongahela.
