James Windle Rothlander passed away peacefully in Huntsville, Texas, on July 10, 2025. Born on August 19, 1960, in Houston, Texas, James was the beloved son of Leland and Willie Faye (Cleveland) Rothlander.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his devoted wife of nearly 40 years, Danna Rothlander, his son Christopher Rothlander, and his brother Wayne Rothlander.
Windle is survived by his children: Stefanie Parisi, Tiffany Rothlander, and James Rothlander, Jr. and wife Lisa. He is also mourned by his siblings: Linda Golden, Diana Lowrey, Wanda Swan, and Jackie Rothlander. Many extended family members and friends also cherish his memory.
Windle found great joy in the outdoors, whether hunting, fishing, or camping. He enjoyed woodworking, especially crafting birdhouses. He delighted in trips with his wife to the casino to play slots and loved gathering with his friends for poker nights. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends making countless memories.
He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
