Jascha Fishburn Obituary

In Loving Memory of Jascha Aaron Fishburn
April 12, 1970 – July 7, 2025

Jascha Aaron Fishburn, 55, of Spearman, Texas, passed away on July 7, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. He was a devoted husband, father, son, and friend, and his passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of those who knew him. Jascha will be remembered for his boundless love for his family, his generosity, and his passion for life.

He is survived by his loving wife, Anna Fishburn, and his cherished daughter, Sydney Fishburn. He was a beloved son to his mother, Karen Easterling, and stepfather, Albert Easterling, as well as to his stepmother, Cathy Fishburn. He is also mourned by his siblings: sister Carmen Elam (Phyllis Reed), and brothers PJ Elam (Claudia) and Rob Fishburn (MaryAnn). Jascha was a doting uncle to Tres and Beto Pacheco, and to his niece, Isabella Fishburn. His in-laws, Tony and Maria Pacheco, and brother-in-law, Tony Pacheco Jr., will carry his memory with love.

Jascha was preceded in death by his loving son, LJ Fishburn; his father, Dean Fishburn; and one brother, Rolly Dean Fishburn, who passed away in 1983 from bone cancer . His devotion to his family was evident in everything he did, and he will be missed deeply by all who loved him.

Jascha had a multitude of passions. He was known for his love of cooking, often bringing people together around delicious meals. His passion for maintaining his lavish pool, gardening, and taking on numerous home improvement projects was a testament to his hard work and attention to detail. He was also a strong advocate for his community, always giving back and supporting those in need. A lover of art, writing, and living a health-conscious lifestyle, Jascha always sought to live life to its fullest, striving for the best for both his family and his community.

He had a large circle of friends who will also remember his warmth, generosity, and the way he made everyone feel welcome. His laughter, kindness, and dedication to others will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A celebration of Jascha’s life will be held on July 12, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spearman, Texas. Family and friends are invited to join in honoring his memory and the love he shared. His internment will take place at a later time.

Jascha's legacy of love, care, and service to others will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit will remain a guiding light for his family, friends, and community.

Remembering Jascha

Jascha and I met on the school bus and instantly became best friends. We rode bikes around the neighborhood, swam at each other’s houses, and spent so many days just laughing—his laugh was totally contagious. He had a gift for making people feel seen, loved, and understood.

From the start, I knew he was a special soul. Even though his time here was too short, he left a lasting mark on all of us. His spirit lives on in the memories we share and the hearts he touched. I’ll never forget him.

Condolence's to the family.
Blessings and prayers for healing.

Though Jascha has left this world, his spirit remains ever present. He touched so many lives with kindness, warmth, and a light that will never fade. His presence lingers in our hearts, in the moments he made brighter, and in the love he gave so freely.

Jascha may no longer walk beside us, but his spirit lives on—in every smile he inspired, every life he touched, and every memory we hold dear. He will always be with us, a quiet strength and a guiding light.

Jascha was a great man. He was well liked and loved by many. I had the privilege of working with this man for many years at the Olive Garden in Amarillo, TX. Even after we no longer worked there, we still saw each other every now and then as he married one of my childhood friends that was more of a sister to me than a friend. Anna my heart goes out to you and Sydney. As well as the rest of the family. I can't tell you how much I have missed seeing his smile or hearing his laughter. Together the two of you always had me laughing right along with you. And to think that that is now gone. It hurts my heart to think what we will be missing out on. I know it has been many years since I have seen the two of you. You must know that the shock of hearing what happened has affected me as if we were still hanging out every day. There are no words to describe the imese loss I feel in losing such a great guy and wonderful friend. Jascha you will be missed and never forgotten. I love you man. Rest in peace.

I went to Sunset Elementary School with Jascha. He was in my 5th grade class. He was the tallest person in our class. At recess I remember how he would be on one side of the see saw and he would stand up and shake his side and I would pop up and stand up on my side! It is one of my most fond memories of elementary school. He was such a kind person. I am so sorry for your loss.
