To: Yvonne Brown-Graham in family. My sincere condolences. The most heartfelt condolences, the sweetest kiss, the tightest hug and the greatest gift may not seem to penetrate the deepest pain you are feeling right now, but all is not in vain. The sweet gestures, the love, the kindness, and the many sympathies will slowly begin to pierce through that pain. The door of that voided space in your heart will begin to open. And "no" the void will not be filled with those acts of kindness. It will only serve as a step towards the healing process. The void will only be filled with the memories, laughter, and love you shared with your mom. Will it stop the tears? No, but soon the tears will be far and few. Will you ever get over it? No, but you will get through. Your smile and laughter will come back too. All is not completely lost, because part of her spirit lives in you. This cycle of life, I wish no one had to go through, but God alone with your love ones will guide you through.

Having walked the same path in September 2022, I understand how heavy the pain of losing a mother can be.
