Joseph McAndrews Obituary

Joseph Kevin McAndrews, age 74 years, passed away on September 13, 2025 at Lankenau Medical Center.  Joe was born and raised in Media, PA to the late Jeanne (nee Smyth) and John McAndrews.  As a boy, he attended Nativity BVM Catholic School and graduated from Cardinal O'Hara High School in 1969.  Joe lived on Summer Street in Media for many years before moving to Portland, Oregon where he lived for twenty five years.  He held various positions in the food and hospitality industry.  In Media he worked as a cook for the Towne House and Pinocchios. Joe had a great love for classic rock music.  He was an excellent guitarist and played in a local band.  

Joe is survived by his siblings John (Kim) of Texas, Michael (Andrea) of Swarthmore, PA, Kathleen Moretti of Cape May Court House, NJ, and Teresa McAndrews of Woodlyn, PA.
