Kathy Jarvis Obituary

Kathy Mae Jarvis, 73, of Avon Park, Florida, passed away August 24, 2025, at
her home following a brave battle against cancer.
She was born April 28, 1952, in Coffee County, Alabama, to Robert Smith and
Thelma Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents and six brothers:
Grady Smith, Loui C. Smith, Roy Smith, Charles Smith, Billy Ray Smith, and
Donald Smith.
Survivors include her husband: Robert Milton Jarvis; sister: Bonnie Faye Gray;
children: Tammy (Sam) Mannino, Kristina Sharpe, Sean Sharpe, Katherine
(Shelly) Wright, Robert Trevor Jarvis, Kelly Harris, and Kristin Cantrell; fourteen
grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
A memorial service for Kathy will take place Saturday, August 30, 11:00 am, at
Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home of Avon Park, with visitation from 10:00 am
until the beginning of the service. In lieu of flowers, the family is grateful for
donations to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation at komen.org.
