Marsha Schenkel Obituary

Marsha Schenkel, 94, passed away July 6, 2025. She was born on April 20, 1931, to Layman and Gladys Crosier. Marsha was married to Richard Schenkel for 74 years. She was a Clerk for Public Service of Indiana and also worked in Retail Sales. Marsha was also a member of Speedway Christian Church.

  She is survived by her husband, Richard Schenkel and children: Rick (Nancie) Schenkel, Penny (Andy) Atkinson, Dan (Tracy) Schenkel; Tammy Mason, Kathy (Daryl) Mastin. Also, eleven grandchildren: Nathan (Tracy) Schenkel, Nick (Liz) Schenkel, Jared (Audrey) Schenkel, Brittanie (Jason) Marshall, Chris (Kayla) Schenkel, Drew Atkinson, Chad (Naziya) Atkinson, Bri (Nathan) Spellman, Kara (Tyler) Shulaw, Matthew Mastin, Madeleine Mastin, and 16 great grandchildren. Additionally, her sister in laws Jane Crosier, Jody Crosier, her nieces Debbie Crosier, Jill Woodyard (and family), and nephews Bill Copper (and family) and Brad Crosier (and family).

She is preceded in death by brothers William Crosier and Gene Crosier, sister Hazel Copper, nephew Robert Crosier, and parents.

Services are 1pm Monday July 14, 2025 at Conkle Funeral Home Avon with Visitation 11am-1pm before the Service.  Burial will be in Brownsburg Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.  Online condolences may be shared at www.conklefuneralhome.com.
