Mr. Johnny Will "Mickey" Robinson was born September 2, 1944, to J. C. Robinson and Curlie Robinson in Leigh, Texas, Harrison County. Johnny "Mickey" departed this life on August 1, 2024, at his home, after a long period of illness.  He was employed as a truck driver. He began working as a driver in 1960 and continued until 2022.  He is preceded in death by his parents, J. C. Robinson and Curlie Robinson, son, Jackie Robinson; sisters and brothers, Tauhedah "Sadie" Robinson Spencer, Monroe Robinson, Sr., Jessie Robinson, Bennie Robinson, William Robinson, Willie Robinson. L. J. Robinson and Helen J. Robinson. Johnny "Mickey" leaves to mourn him: his devoted children, Mrs. Chandela Robinson Bennett (Kevin), Ms. Lynnette Robinson (Bernard), and Mr. Johnny "Mickey" Robinson, Jr.; special friend, Ms. Hazel Dunn; sister, Dorothy Robinson and brothers, J. C. Robinson (Madeline) and Ennis Robinson. He leaves a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews to also cherish his memory.
