Bobby Baxley Obituary

Mr. Bobby Loyd Baxley, Sr. age 86, a resident of Lakeland, Florida, passed away Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. Mr. Baxley was born February 10, 1939, in Lakeland, Florida to Carol Milton and Ola Estelle (Barett) Baxley. He was a lifetime Lakeland resident and graduated from Lakeland High School. Bobby was a retired Supervisor for the Polk County Telecommunications Department. He was a member of Family Worship Center in Lakeland, 32nd Degree Mason, recorded Gospel music and enjoyed playing his guitar. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife – Linda Ann Baxley and sister – Lyvon Thornton. Bobby is survived by, 2 sons – Daniel Baxley & Frank (Donna) Baxley; daughter – Kimberly "Casey" Ballone; 2 brothers – Danny Baxley & Ronnie (Carol) Baxley; 6 grandchildren – Ashley, Clay, Bobbie Jo, Stevie, Dena & Jena; 13 great grandchildren – Summer, Parker, Chase, Danny, Aubrey, Dontate, Raysean, Devon, Gabby, Tiana, Leona, Cierra & Emma. There are no services scheduled for Mr. Baxley at this time.
