Mr. Reginald Johnson, Sr Obituary

     Home going celebration for Mr. Reginald Vernon Johnson, Sr. who passed on February 14, 2025, will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 12:00 noon at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida with Pastor Maurice Taylor of New Progress Missionary Baptist Church, Officiating and Minister Chad Muhammad of Mosque 47, Eulogist.  Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, Florida.                   

     Mr. Reginald Vernon Johnson, Sr. was born on October 4, 1961, to the parentage of Margaret and Eugene Johnson in Havana, Florida.  He was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County.  Reginald loved hanging out with his family, working outside, fixing things around the house and listing to music. Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents Eugene (Margaret) Johnson and his wife, Deborah Johnson.  

     He leaves to cherish precious memories of him with children, Reginald Vernon Johnson, Jr. and Brittany Johnson; grandchildren, Kemauri, Zakari, Zahriah and Kenijah; 3 siblings, Cheryl Johnson Reed (Edward), Veronica Johnson and Virgil Johnson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.   There will be a viewing on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon (prior to the service) at Wilson Funeral Home.
