Nakia Carelock Obituary

From the very first day that I worked with Nakia during my time in the Novant Health Float Pool she was great, always nice and welcoming. I will never forget her smile, laughter and kindly affection it's what this world needs. May the peace that comes from the only living God Jesus Christ surround her family whom she loved and lived for, now and forever.

I offer my sincere condolences to Nakia's family. I worked with Nakia at Novant Health Neurology. I always enjoyed talking with Nakia. Over the years, we shared a lot of laughs and life experiences. Nakia always loved talking about her family. She often spoke lovingly about her mother, grandchildren, children & precious doggies. She was a kind and gentle person in interacting with everyone. She will be greatly missed.

It is so hard to put into words what it means to lose someone like Nakia. She brought kindness, warmth, and laughter into work during the times I got to work with her and her presence made days brighter. I will miss you sincerely but carry your spirit in the memories and moments we shared!!! RIP Nakia

I worked with Nakia since Nov 2023. She was such a wonderful lady with an amazing spirit! I know she will be terribly missed by her family and especially by her grandchildren whom she adored. The only condolence is that her suffering is finally over.
