Nicholas Guy Obituary

UPDATED SERVICE INFO: A graveside ceremony with military honors will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025 at 12:30 p.m. at Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd., Schuylerville.

GLENS FALLS --- Nicholas John Guy, 61, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 31, 2025, following a long illness.

Born March 9, 1963, in Glens Falls, he was the son of Roger and Anna (Torapilla) Guy.

He graduated from St. Mary’s of Glens Falls and then enlisted in the Army. Nick worked for Lake George Lanes and Games as a head mechanic.

He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the New York Yankees and the Los Angeles Raiders.

Nick will be greatly missed by his family, friends, bosses and co-workers.

In addition to his parents, Nick was predeceased by his brothers, Francis and Raymond Guy; brother-in-law, Ed Nix; and nephew, Michael Guy.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sister, Theresa Nix; sister-in-law, Dawn Guy; his loving niece, Cindy (Brian) Bigelow; niece, Vanessa Guy; nephews, Everett Nix and Chris Guy; and cousin, Ray (Mary) Boucher.

Per Nick’s request, no calling hours are scheduled.
