Patricia Libby Obituary

From the family of Patricia Jaggard Libby of Milton Mills, NH. Pat passed away on June 24th, 2025 at the age of 100 years old.  She had resided at Spring Village of Dover for the last year.  She celebrated her 100th birthday there with family, friends and cake.  She received a proclamation from the mayor of Dover and the key to the city.  Pat really most enjoyed the Birthday Card sent form the Royal Family of England in honor of her 100 years. Pat was born in Great Britain to her father, Robert and mother, Gladys.  She was the 3rd of 4 children, Mary, Grace and Robert.  Pat met her husband Maurice “Alan” Libby and they married in 1945.  Shortly after they moved to Canada to start their family.  Their first son, Steven was born then they moved to the United States where a son, Roger and a daughter, Trisha completed their family.  The initially spent time in Portland Maine, and then bought their forever home, “The Farm” in Milton Mills NH.  As their family settled into the community Pat participated in many activities, she worked for years as a hairdresser along with running the farm.  She was a member of the “Grange (Patrons of Husbandry)” for years and an active leader of the 4 H club of America.  Pat enjoyed going dancing in her younger days and playing cards at the Grange Hall.  She was always busy raising children, vegetables, farm animals and rescue dogs.  Pat enjoyed years of good health and would travel to Florida in the winter months where they enjoyed their retirement at a place they bought in Spanish Village in Leesburg FL.   Pat loved road trips and often went on side trips on the way back and forth to New Hampshire.  Pat also was able to visit her native England on many occasions.  

Pat is predeceased by her husband, Maurice Libby in 2012, and her oldest son, Steven Libby in 2020.  She is survived by her son, Roger and wife Kym Libby of Milton Mills, NH. Her daughter Trisha Libby and spouse Kim Reardon of Ashfield, MA.  Pat had 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
