Patricia Locke Obituary

Patricia Locke, a beloved mother, grandmother, friend and faithful servant of the Lord, passed away July 15, 2025. A lifelong resident of Laurel Hill, she will be remembered for her deep love of family, her quite strength, and her generous heart. Pat was a devoted member of the Frist Baptist Church in Laurel Hill, where she found great joy in worship and fellowship. Her faith guided her life and was evident in the compassion she showed to everyone around her. She found simple pleasures in the things that brought her peace- quiet mornings spent working through crossword puzzles, laughter shared around the dinner table and the unconditional love of the animals she rescued and cared for throughout the years. Above all Pat cherished her family. Her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family were the pride of her life. Her wisdom and gentle presence left a lasting mark on all who knew her. She was preceded in death by husband, Henry Wallace Locke; son, Henry Clayton Locke; father, William Jernigan; mother, Myrtle Paul Jernigan; brother, Wayne Renfroe; sister, Juanita Baham.

She is survived by son, William Locke (Meggan), daughters, Wendy Locke and Vonda Paul (Shane), sisters, Deloris Bass and Cindy Enright, cousin, Glenda Lanasse, numerous grand and great grandchildren.

Graveside services for Patricia Locke will be 10AM Friday July 18, 2025 at Almarante Cemetery with Mike McVay officiating.
