Patricia Yarussi Obituary

Patricia M. Yarussi, 83, of Scotch Plains, peacefully passed on Monday, July 7, 2025.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am on Friday, July 11, 2025 at St. Bartholomew the Apostle Church, Scotch Plains.  The Entombment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield.  

Patricia was born and raised in Newark, NJ.  She lived in Westfield before settling to Scotch Plains in 1975.  Pat was Nursing Assistant at Westfield Convalescence Center and then at Runnells Specialized Hospital.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  She took great pride in helping with her grandchildren.  As a parishioner of St. Bartholomew the Apostle Church, she volunteered with the Food Drives and Food Pantry for many years.  For over 20yrs., Pat would donate her time and energy by providing meals for the Dominican Monastery of Our Lady of the Rosary, Summit during the holidays, especially Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. 

Pat is predeceased by her brother Douglas.  She is survived by her husband of 54yrs., Anthony; her two sons Lee Joseph DiDonato and Michael Anthony Yarussi; her two daughters Mary Chosney (Mark) and Donna Gabrielli (Micheal); her 10 grandchildren; her 12 great grandchildren; and her brother Richard Traylor.
