Peter Wan Obituary
Mr. Peter Wan entered into rest on Feb. 3, 2025 in an Atlanta hospital after several weeks there.
Mr. Wan was referred to as a pillar of the Georgia Tech IT community for over 40 years. He was last a senior systems support engineer with the PACE Cyber Infrastructure team at Georgia Tech.
Mr. Wan was raised in Augusta, Georgia before he left to attend Georgia Tech, where he graduated in 1980.
Survivors include his sister, Lillian Wan of Augusta, along with various relatives and friends of both Augusta and Atlanta. He was predeceased by his parents, Check Nam Wan and Linda Wan.

Very sad to hear that my dear friend and former co-worker Peter has passed. He was a stellar person who was always congenial and kind to all. Never a harsh word and possessed a wonderful sense of humor! If more people were like Peter, the World would be a much better place for all of us to live!

Although I did not have the honor and pleasure to meet Peter, the Wan Family have been stalwart pillars of the Augusta community for decades. The siblings Peter and Lillian have admirable contributions that will be long remembered. Thank you for this opportunity to remember Peter in his hometown and offering words of comfort to Lillian and other family and friends.
