I didn't know Georgie well. I met him once when another person called together all the steel drum players in Charlotte for a gig. I saw and talked with him during those practices. I always liked the fact that he played bass (a drum I always wanted to play). May he rest in peace. Deborah Hines

My condolences to the family! Mr. George will be missed. He was my “amazing” hair stylist for over 30 years. He had a kind heart and a calm/sweet demeanor. He never seemed upset about anything!
