Condolences to the Scott family, sorry to hear of the passing of Rev. Joe, he use to work at Colonial Rubber and so did my Daddy Mr.Maze, he and my dad talked alot, then I met Connie. RIP Rev. Scott, Connie, Ronnie, BB hold on to your Faith and each other during this time.

Condolences to the Family of Rev. Joe A. Scott

I extend my heartfelt condolences to the family of Rev. Joe A. Scott. I first remember his dedicated service as the director of the Bruce Community Center, a role he fulfilled faithfully for many years. During that same time, he also served as the devoted pastor of the Great St. John #1 Missionary Baptist Church in Tiptonville. Rev. Scott was truly a giant within the Mississippi Valley District Association of the National Baptist Convention, Inc. His steady leadership, compassionate spirit, and tireless service to both church and community made a lasting impact.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Once again, my sincere condolences to the family. May his legacy continue to inspire.

We want to say Farewell to a wonderful man and Pastor.We were under the leader ship of this pastor for many years.Pastor Joe Scott married Michael and I 44 years ago he stood by us and guided us in the right way with our first child Ayunae.Pastor was a wonderful man and Pastor . Michael would fix him a pie every year on our anniversary Feb 15,1981.If Michael missed one day he would say bro Michael did you forget something and laugh.To the family we will continue to pray for your strength each day we bid you farewell Pastor Joe Scott until we meet again. This man was my pastor for 21ys, he married me and my husband, he was there was my 1st son was born over 28 yrs ago. This man was like another father to me. To his daughter Connie may God bless you and the family that he will give you strength in this time of sorrow. Pastor will always have a special place in my heart and family.
