Robert "Bob" Sullivan Obituary

Robert “Bob” William Sullivan, 88, of Coppell, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on July 13, 2025. Born on June 9, 1937, in Anderson, Indiana, Bob was the son of Joseph and Mame Sullivan.

A devoted student, Bob graduated from St. Joseph College in 1959 with a degree in Mathematics. He began his professional career with General Motors shortly after graduation and remained with the company for 40 years, retiring as an executive. Bob also proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a committed member of the Knights of Columbus, earning the honor of 4th Degree.

In 1963, Bob married the love of his life, Mary Johanna Wysockey. Together, they shared more than 62 wonderful years and raised three sons.

In retirement, Bob embraced his creative side and pursued several passions. He became a skilled photographer, capturing the beauty of nature and his family. He tended to his roses with great care and dedication. Together, Bob and Mary traveled the world—making memories across continents and cherishing new cultures and experiences.

Bob’s legacy of hard work, faith, and devotion to family will be remembered by all who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary; sons Ronald Sullivan of Fort Worth, Texas, Christopher Sullivan of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Peter Sullivan and his wife, Tracie, of Argyle, Texas; his sister, Joanne Sokol and her husband, Stephen, of Anderson, Indiana; grandchildren Nicholas Sullivan and his wife, Sakiko, Kailey Sullivan, Bradley Sullivan and his wife, SaeNah, and Jackson Sullivan; and one great-grandson, Nathan Sullivan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 18, 2025, at St. Mark Catholic Church in Argyle, Texas.

Bob will be dearly missed and forever remembered as a faithful husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and kind friend.
