Sylvia Heimann Obituary
Rochester - Sylvia Heimann, 89 of Rochester, passed away on Sunday (October 12, 2025) at Unity Hospital in Rochester surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Heimann was born April 4, 1936 in Ponce, Puerto Rico, a daughter of the late Apolinario and Justina (Del la Romerio) Santiago.
Sylvia's love as a wife and mother was the heart of her family. She will be profoundly missed by her husband and children, and may she now find eternal peace in the company of those who went before her.
Surviving are her husband, Ralph R. Heimann of Rochester; children, Ericus Santiago of Spencerport, Iris Rodriguez of Columbus, Ohio, and Terry (Teresa Crewe) Heimann of Greece; grandchildren, Monique, Andrew, Manny, and Judah; brother, Tito; sister, Martha. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Along with her parents, Sylvia is reunited in death with her grandson, Andrew; and siblings Juan, Catalina, Maria, Margirita, Umberto, and Gualberto.
Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday (October 22, 2025) from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Marley Funeral Home, 135 Main Street in Attica. Sylvia's funeral service will immediately follow visitation at 6:00 p.m. Committal services will be held on Thursday (October 23, 2025) at 1:00 p.m. at Western New York National Cemeter, 1254 Indian Falls Road in Pembroke (please arrive by 12:45 p.m.). In lieu of flowers, the family suggests planting a flower in a garden in memory of Sylvia. Online condolences at www.marleyfuneralhome.com.
