Not sure what to say?

I spent to long missing out on you

I was in kindergarten when you stopped to visit our class in 1972 on your way from England to California. I loved hearing your music on the radio, and our teacher played your record for us once a week. You played your hit song, but the one I wanted to hear was "You're Dead". You played that last because the teacher knew I would start dancing and twirling to the song. You smiled at me as you played it, and said, "OMG, I love this kid!". I am now 55 years old, and this is...

Your first album had a deep and profound effect on me and my songwriting. Thank you, so much.

I remember that sweet song about "Walkin' a Cat Named Dog". I was about 12 years old in 1966. The song is kind and innocent, and I think of Norma Tanega, and this song, once in a while. God bless you, Ms. Tanega.

Norma's music, art and guiding light goodwill to all will never be forgotten. Rest easy my sweet angel.

I was so sorry to find out Norma Tanega had passed. I was a huge fan of her LP in the 1960s, and am so glad that some of her songs other than "Walking My Cat Named Dog" became well known later in her career. I see from a couple of obituaries that her song "You're Dead," from that first album, became well known in 2015 because of a horror mockumentary, "What We Do in the Shadows." I loved that song, as well as others of hers. Glad that others can enjoy it too, and...

A beautiful voice, I hope she was happy in her life.

Eternal peace..be yours. Thank you for sharing your artistic gifts.

Norma's 'Walking my Cat Named Dog' was the first record I ever bought as a child. It remains one of my favourite songs, along with 'I'm the Sky'. I'll carry your songs with me forever, Norma.
