Robert Becker Obituary
Robert Lawrence Becker, a skilled stone mason and devoted family man, passed away quietly at his home on October 15th, 2025. His craftsmanship left lasting marks not only in the stone he shaped, but also in the lives of those fortunate enough to know him.
Robert was born to Lucille Dedner and Maximillian Becker. Lucille later married Wolfgang Dedner who helped raise Robert and helped him grow up with a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for the beauty of building something with his own two hands.
He was a loving husband to Wanda (Hodgson) Becker, whose companionship of 44 years was his greatest joy. Robert was the proud father to Joshua Becker, husband to Francisca. Josh will carry on his legacy of strength and integrity.
Robert was employed at Outlaw Masonry Inc. His boss and dear friend Gary Kitchen worked with Robert for an amazing 28 years. His passion for masonry was more than a trade-it was an art form, and his work stood as a testament to his dedication, patience, and pride.
Robert's longest and dearest friends Mike and LeAnn for 40 years and Randy and Suzie for over 37 year will keep the road under his wings and the music playing.
Outside of his craft, Robert's heart belonged to the open road. He found freedom and brotherhood as a member of the Confederate Iron Motorcycle Club of Hendersonville NC, where he shared countless rides and friendships that became like family. Robert was so proud of his 10 1/2 year membership!
Robert was a man who valued quiet moments as much as roaring engines. He loved reading and could often be found lost in a good book, his curiosity and wisdom growing with every page.
His large, caring and extended family consisted of his sisters Sandra Kane, of Dacula GA, Anita Oconnor, Mother Lucille Dedner, (Jason and Tim Kane and Kim Spearman). Joyce Riddle of Dunedin FL, Richard Davis, (Jennifer McCarrel and James Riddle). Dawn Mason, of Boiling Springs SC. Rex Rubin, (Hannah and Matthew Mason). Maxine Galloway of Lake Toxaway NC, Kelley. (Mason Galloway). Ellen B. Exton of Springfield VA, Dave
Robert's spirit will be remembered by all who knew him as a craftsman, a rider, a husband, a father, and a loyal friend. His hands built walls and homes, but his heart built bonds that will never fade.
In lieu of a memorial service, family is asking that a donation be made to: Confederate Iron MC of North Carolina. CIMC c/o Ronnie Gray 257 Hyder View Drive, Hendersonville NC 28791.
