Paul Jones Obituary

Paul Jones was born in Barnwell County on August 20, 1950, to the late Issac (Ike) Jones & Rose Ellen (Doll) Scott Jones. He was the fifteenth child and the eighth son. He entered into rest on Sunday, June 22, 2025 at his residence. He joined Friendship Missionary Baptist at an early age. Paul graduated from Schofield High School - Class of 1968 Paul worked hard on the farmland and fixing those broken-down tractors or a pickup truck that won't start, he brought machines back to life with a confident touch. Paul was a jack - of-all-trades, but a master of many. Paul was preceded in death by; brothers-Hampton Jones, Samuel Jones, Sr., John Henry Jones, Sr., Elijah Jones; sisters- Classie Mae Jones, Eliza Jones Barton, Brenda Jones Bell, Mary Lee Jones and Martha Jones Furse. Paul leaves to treasure his memories: two sons, Anthony Jones, Jacksonville Fl, Derrick Haynes, Sr., Augusta Ga. granddaughters: Antania Jones & Tirene Jones. great-grandson: Cash Carter; God- daughter Barbara Priester Davis whom he treasured.
