Harold Brandon Obituary

Harold, age 77, went peacefully to his heavenly home on July 10, 2025. He was a native of Missouri, and a longtime resident of Ponchatoula, LA. Harold proudly served his country in The United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. For decades he has been a loyal member of the American Legion, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Harold is a member of First Baptist Church of Ponchatoula, where he served as a deacon. He loved fishing, cooking, traveling, and being with family and friends. Harold was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who is already dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Harold is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Kathryn 'Kathy' Pfeiffer Brandon; daughter, Theresa Faye Brandon; sons, Robert H. Brandon (Kelly), and David J. Brandon (Jan); grandchildren, Leland Brandon (Taylor), Skylar Brandon, Minerva Revontulet, Phoebe Brandon, and Liam Brandon; sisters, Glenda Forbs, and Sheila Haun; brothers, John Brandon, and Richard Brandon; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Harold is preceded in death by his parents, Katherine and Bob 'Buddy' Brandon; sister, Barbara Wylie; and brothers, Terry Brandon, Bill Brandon, and Bobby Brandon. PONCHATOULA, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Visitation from First Baptist Church of Ponchatoula, 325 E. Pine St., Ponchatoula, LA. on Monday, July 21, 2025 starting at 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 starting at 9:00 a.m. until the start of the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Dr. David Cranford will officiate with interment to follow in Rosaryville Cemetery.
