Mary Holder Obituary

A memorial service for Mary Louise Holder, 86 of Oxford will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at the K.L. Brown Funeral Home, with Bishop Jerry Irwin officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Holder passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday evening. Mary is survived by her devoted husband, Lt. Col. Maurice Holder; her son, Maurice Holder Jr. and wife Gail; her daughter, Julie Holder Flores and husband Richard; and her beloved grandchildren, Erik and fiancé Alex, Madison, and Ryan and wife Carla. She is also lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Valerie Holder. Mary was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She had a deep appreciation for Indian art, enjoyed time at the lake, and loved watching the ducks. Known for her warmth and kindness, she cherished her many friends and had a gift for making those around her feel loved. Her greatest joy was her family, whom she adored above all. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who knew and loved her. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.klbrownfuneralhome.com. K.L.
