JIMMY WAYNE BLY Jimmy Wayne Bly, 80, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, entered into rest on December 25, 2024, in Salem, Arkansas. Jimmy entered into life on January 17, 1944, in Tyronza, Arkansas to Logan Clem and Edna Christine (Chambliss) Bly. Jimmy was united in marriage to Barbara Ann Burch on April 16, 1985, in Marion, Arkansas. Jimmy spent his working years in construction. Jimmy was a great provider for his family. He enjoyed going on adventures, especially to the antique shop. He loved a good deal and loved to tinker with things. He loved his children and grands very much. You could always find him with a button up shirt and jean jacket on. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Jimmy is survived by his wife, Barbara Bly of Salem, Arkansas; daughter, Lathonia Daes (Kent) of Mayflower, Arkansas; stepdaughter, Leann Hall of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; stepson; Joel Griffith (Becky) of Salem, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Matthew Dempsey (Jordan), Renee Everett (Jerad), Amber Acord (Jacob), and Natalee Westerman (Scotty); six great-grandchildren, Emerson, Elena, Sylver, Gracelyn, Kayden, and Milo; two brothers, Logan Bly and Danny Bly; many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Linda Bly; Son In-Law David Hall; and siblings Eloise, Randall, and Tiny. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday, December 30, 2024, at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with officiating by Bro. Eric Ertle. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service on Monday, December 30, 2024, at Barker Funeral Home. The interment will be in the Salem Cemetery in Salem, Arkansas. The pallbearers will be Kent Daes, Matthew Dempsey, Jerad Everett, Joel Griffith, Neal McNatt, and Troy Sanchez. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society.
