FRANCES METZKER

September 8, 1945 – July 6, 2025

Myrtle Point – Frances Marie Metzker, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, & aunt, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2025, in Myrtle Point, OR, at the age of 79. Born Frances Marie French on September 8, 1945, in Bakersfield, CA.

She was the cherished wife of James Metzker, with whom she shared a lifetime of love for 62 years. She was a devoted mother to her children: Shelly and Chancy Johnson, Jimmy Metzker, Todd and Lindsey Metzker. Her legacy continues through her six grandchildren – Whitney, Chancy Jr, Tiffany, Scotty, Wyatt, Lyla – and six great-grandchildren.

One of six siblings, Frances will be deeply missed by Emma Jean, Birdie, Johnny, Walter, & Tammy, as well as her cousins, nieces, and nephews. Her kindness, generous spirit, and unwavering love for her family will be profoundly missed.

Frances was a devout Christian, actively involved in children's ministry. Her unwavering faith was a guiding light in her life & an inspiration to those around her.

A celebration of life will be held in CA in September. Details will be announced at a later date.

I was Frances´s Insurance agent for many years. She prayed with me many times over the phone. I loved this lady. God just received a new angel. I know I will see her again someday.
