Carolyn Hinder Obituary
Carolyn was a loving and dedicated wife to her husband of 50 years, John C Hinder, who preceded her in death. She was the proud mother of eight children: John C Hinder Jr. (Donna), Lisa Hinder Jendrek (Paul), Jeffery B Hinder (Eileen), Kimberly Hinder Bartow (Ted), Michael C Hinder (Tracy), Stephen E Hinder (MaryPat), Tracy Hinder Rhyne and Kelly Hinder Haggerty (Dan). She was a doting grandmother to 22 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Carolyn's deep love and devotion to her family were the cornerstones of her life.
Preceded in death by her beloved baby girl, Michelle, and her grandsons, Andrew Bartow and Bryan Bartow, Carolyn's heart was never fully healed from the loss of her loved ones, but she continued to be the beacon of strength and love to those around her. Her family will forever carry her memory with them, guided by the love she imparted.
Carolyn was known for her love of reading, antiquing, cooking and traveling. Her favorite memories are those of when she was with her family and close friends. Her warm spirit and gentle heart touched the lives of so many, and she will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Friends and family called on Monday, June 9th from 4-7:00pm at Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home in Aberdeen, MD and a funeral mass was held on Tuesday, June 10th, at St Joan of Arc Church in Aberdeen, MD at 11AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made the Alzheimer's Association in Carolyn's memory.
May Carolyn rest in peace, reunited with her loved ones in heaven.
